i have officially decided to leave the project 365 behind and especially be done with mourning over my digital slr. i have yet again found the fantastic pleasure of shooting film and i am even considering this wild thought of not purchasing a digital camera in the near-by future. i have always found that the quality of my photographs are many times better when shooting film, it must have something to do with the fact that with digital it is easy to just click away without necessarily giving it a second thought. whereas film, you don’t want to waste it.
so i have been shooting with an slr that i bought 8 years ago. at first, i must admit, i had some difficulties shooting with it. i suppose i felt since i have had a better camera, why should i take one step (or more!) back…i know, such a childish (and snob-ish!) way of thinking. well good news people, i have grown past that. i am just so happy to be photographing again and that’s all i care about. whatever camera i can get my hands on, that is what i will use.
and so, i am back! this blog is going to be a little different but still majorly focused on photography. i hope you will find this one more enjoyable, and as always, feedback is highly appreciated!
here are a few examples of my summer time minolta slr photography! enjoy!
